Fire Rated Wafers
RAB Fire Rated Wafers (FWAFER series) are ultra-slim, canless LED downlights featuring a built-in 2-hour fire resistance rating (tested to UL 263 and ASTM E119), field-selectable color temperatures (5CCT), and a canless low-profile design that eliminates the need for traditional recessed housing.
5 Selectable Color Temperatures
These field-adjustable wafer downlights allow you to change color temperature (2700/3000/3500/4000/5000K) with the flick of a switch! They’re ideal for both new construction and retrofit applications. Models are offered in 4″ (11W) and 6″ (15W) in both smooth and baffle trims.
Low-Profile Design
Installations are super flexible with an off-board driver that minimizes installation height, maximizes thermal management, and eliminates the need for a traditional recessed housing or “can”. A plenum-rated cable connector links the downlight module to the remote driver, and then the module snaps into place with the adjustable, spring-loaded retention clips.
The remote driver box has quick connectors, knockouts and plenty of space for daisy chain wiring or adding an emergency backup unit.
Edge-Lit Design Minimizes Glare
Back-lit downlights deliver a more vertical distribution, putting the light directly on the work surface. Edge-lit wafers use a reflective panel to disperse a wider, smoother distribution that reduces glare.

All wafers are dimmable—with most common TRIAC forward and reverse phase cut dimmers (120V) —and Title 24 compliant. 90 CRI provides accurate color rendering, making them ideal for commercial applications where color is critical.
